TRAVEL TO CITY LEEUWARDEN, PROVINCE FRIESLAND, THE NETHERLANDS
Bordine is 1 hour and 15 minutes up north, ( 130 km ) from Amsterdam, when travelling by car crossing the enclosing dike (Afsluitdijk). You can also travel easy by (in)direct trains from Amsterdam ( airport Schiphol) or any other city or airport in Holland, to Bordine in Leeuwarden.
HOW TO TRAVEL AND REACH LEEUWARDEN
Travel by Plane
Leeuwarden is very easy to reach by (low cost) airplanes. You can fly to any of the dutch airports or even the German airport Weeze/Dusseldorf, or Bremen. All the airports are connected by railway/train or road/bus to city Leeuwarden. When you are on a stay in Europe, you can easily travel to Leeuwarden (the netherlands) from all surrounding countries. Also if you fly or fly low cost, it is easy to reach, by coach / train from the next airports Bordine.

From the airports you can take a coach, a train, rent a car, or take a airport taxi to Leeuwarden.
TRAVEL BY INTERLINER BUSES/COACH TO LEEUWARDEN
- Travel by interliner coach / buses to Bordine Leeuwarden. First travel from Amsterdam centre, bus/train station, to city Alkmaar bus/train station. From Alkmaar bus/train station travel to Leeuwarden bus/train station During this last part you will be crossing the Afsluitdijk (enclosing dijk).
- An alternative is to take the train to city Alkmaar (famous cheese market) and travel by interliner bus from Alkmaar bus/train station to Leeuwarden (1 hour and 15 minutes).

TRAVEL BY TRAIN TO LEEUWARDEN
You can take the Intercity train from Amsterdam airport (Schiphol) or Amsterdam centre to city Amersfoort. From both train stations in Amsterdam, a direct intercity train will depart every 20 minutes to Amersfoort, direction Enschede, to Groningen/Leeuwarden (last part is Leeuwarden and separates at Station Zwolle in a train direction Groningen and direction Leeuwarden ). At Amersfoort station there is always a section Groningen (first part of the train) and a section Leeuwarden (last part of the train). Make sure you are sitting in the section that travels to Leeuwarden (last part of the train). You can switch to the last section at train station Amersfoort or Zwolle when necessary (same platform).
